What this site is
Wordsmith's Emissary connects writers with editors and beta readers. We're a connection service. We don't employ, supervise, train, or guarantee any editor listed here, and we aren't party to any agreement you reach with one. Rates, deadlines, scope, and payment are arranged directly between you and the editor. We publish guidance on what editing costs so you can judge an offer, but that guidance is general information and not a quote.
Use of the site
You're welcome to read, share, and link to anything here. Please don't copy the content wholesale and republish it as your own, attempt to disrupt the site, or use it for anything unlawful.
Our content
Text, design, and images on this site belong to Wordsmith's Emissary unless credited otherwise. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine and welcome.
Links to other sites
We link outward where it's useful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices.
